Lunar Eclipse Captions for Instagram

Lunar eclipse refers to the shadow of the Earth falling on Luna causing it to turn a shade of blood red followed by total obscuration. This phenomenon may not be more clearly visible from the earth than from the moon covering up the Sun. Therefore, it is considered as a very scary thing by some.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind Earth and into its shadow. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are exactly or very closely aligned (in syzygy).
